On July 4th, we celebrate more than our nation’s independence—we celebrate the connections that make Waunakee feel like home. At WaunaBoom, friends, families, and neighbors come together for a day full of free activities, live music, delicious food, and spectacular fireworks. It's a celebration of laughter, lasting memories, and the kind of community spirit that reminds us we all belong.

FREE FUN FOR EVERYONE
Celebrate WaunaBoom's 10th anniversary and America's 250th birthday with a day full of free family fun. Watch rescue dogs perform jaw-dropping stunts and splash landings. Meet friendly animals and pet two young camels at the farm. Enjoy a hand-led pony ride and hop aboard the pirate ship. Join a casual game of cornhole or volleyball, then be wowed after dark by fire juggling and flame dancing. Don't miss the F-35 flyover, a Black Hawk fly-in, and the return of the WaunaBoom Parachute Team. Come ready for adventure—there’s something for everyone!

As night falls, the real magic begins. WaunaBoom’s fireworks show ignites the sky in perfect sync with music, creating a dazzling display of color and sound. Recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the top 16 Fourth of July experiences in the nation, the show builds to a powerful finale you won’t forget.
